We can teach you about the life cycle of a frog and the anatomy of fish. Use our microscope to view algae and insects. Individualized for children of all ages. This fun filled day can be spent with:
Age appropriate teaching on fishing, fish anatomy, frog life cycle, &/or pond ecology
Educational center with a microscope to view water plants and pond critters
Picnic grove with gas grill for ½ hour for your use
The day will start with age appropriate education on fishing/ pond related topics as well as hands on time with a microscope. Center Point Pond staff will show the children how to catch & release a fish. Approximate time 30-45 minutes. Remaining time can be used for picnicking or field games.

Time: 2 hours
Cost: $10.00/child
Minimum: $150
Maximum: 60 children
A nice combination of option 1 &3 that provides both hands on fishing & pond education. Designed for children ages 5 & up. This fun filled day can be spent with:
Age appropriate teaching on fishing including how to bait a hook and how to reel ‘em in
Rods, tackle, & bait for all children to fish
Age appropriate teaching on fishing, fish anatomy, frog life cycle, &/or pond ecology
Educational center with a microscope to view water plants and pond critters
Picnic grove with gas grill for ½ hour for your use
After learning about fishing, the children are given rods to fish. Assistance is provided as needed. Fishing education & experience approximate time is 45 minutes to1 hour. After fishing, the group gathers to learn about fish/ pond related topics as well as how to use a microscope. Approximate time is 30- 45 minutes. Remaining time can be used for picnicking or field games.

Time: 2 hours

Maximum: # of children varies with age up to 30 children
Looking for something different and fun as well as educational? Designed for children ages 5 & up, the day is filled with hands on fishing experiences.

The day begins with the children learning how to bait a hook, cast, and handle a fishing rod as well as how to catch & release fish. After learning and practicing, the children are given their own rods to fish. Assistance is provided as needed. By the end of the session, the child should be able to bait a hook and catch & release fish safety. Fishing education & experience is 1 1/2 hours. Remaining time can be used for picnicking or field games.
Terms
A 50% deposit to book date is required with the following minimum deposits. Minimum deposit amounts: Option 1 requires a min. $80 deposit, Option 2 requires a min. $150 deposit, and Option 3 requires a min. $100 deposit. Remaining balance due date of event. Option 1 & 2 available weekdays only. Rain dates scheduled as needed.
If event cancelled prior to 3 weeks of date: Full refund less $10.
If event cancelled after 3 weeks of date for reasons other than rain: No refund of deposit.
