About Us

Center Point Pond, Inc. opened in 1996. The pond, which was originally dug in the early 1950's by the James Bateman family, was used as a water hole for livestock. It was quickly made larger with the Bateman children having memories of swimming, fishing, boating, and skating at the pond.  Today, the pond is open to the public for fishing. During the first few years the pond hosted thousands of children, many with special needs, who experienced fishing for the first time. The pond also plays host to adults as well as senior groups from local retirement communities.

When the staff of Center Point Pond is not teaching children how to fish, they are advising about ponds and have installed many water features into backyards in the Delaware Valley. Their love of fishing and water gardening is obvious.

Contrary to many pond kit manufacturers, ponds do need some maintenance and do at times have difficulties. We are here to support you after your purchase. We are family owned and have installed hundreds of water features and assisted thousands of customers with their pond supply needs. We have real world experience with all types of ponds and pond products. The water garden sales and services revenue allows us to offer fishing and environmental education services to our community.
