Fish Recipes

Here's our favorite recipes:
Center Point Pond Grilled Trout
Trout, cleaned
Salt
Coarse black pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Margarine or butter
Lemon wedges
Rinse fish. Lightly cook buttered trout on foil-covered grill until skin peels off easily (~ 3 min. each side). Remove skin and liberally add butter, salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder to fish. Cook fish on both sides until flaky (~ 10-15 min). Easily separate fish from bones with a fork. Spritz with lemon before serving. Enjoy!

Ginger Trout Recipe
Trout, cleaned
1/2 cup Soy sauce
4 Tbsp. Sugar
4 tsp. Ginger, ground or grated
Rinse fish. Mix soy sauce, sugar and ginger over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Bring almost to a boil. Strain sauce and rub 1/2 of sauce on the fish, both inside and out.
Place fish in broiler or grill. Lightly cook trout on foil-covered grill or boiler until skin peels off easily (~ 3 min. each side). Remove skin . Serve with remaining warmed sauce.

Rinse fish and pat dry. Spread softened butter over fish. Mix remaining seasonings and sprinkle over fish. Place fish on foil covered grill and cook until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges.

1/3 c. dry white wine
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. dillweed
Rinse fish and pat dry. Place in shallow pan. Combine melted butter with seasonings, stirring well. Pour over fish in shallow bowl and marinate for 30minutes. Remove fish from marinade and reserve marinade. Grill fillets until fish flakes easily with a fork. Baste with marinade.
