Thank you for visiting Center Point Pond. We appreciate your business. By accessing & using our site, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions and all applicable laws, without limitations or qualifications.
Payment & Pricing Policy
We accept PayPal using a confirmed address and our online gift certificates. Checks are not accepted for online purchases. In-store gift certificates can only be redeemed in the store and cannot be redeemed online. Online pricing is not valid in the retail store.
Sales Tax
A 6% Pennslyvania sales tax is assessed on all purchases made by PA residents.
Warranty
Center Point Pond is a retailer. Any warranty and technical support provided on the products purchased through us are provided by the orginal manufacturer and not by Center Point Pond. The warranties and technical support may vary from product to product. All product warranties are the warranties as given by the manufacturers. The manufacturer handles all warranty-related issues. The buyer pays all shipping costs to return the warranty item to the manufacturer. Center Point Pond is not responsible for warranty claims. Misuse of the product or cut electrical cords will void manufacturer warranties.
Liability
Center Point Pond accepts no responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of any products sold by us or our suppliers. We recommend you follow all manufacturers' instructions and use GFI outlets when using electrical products near or in the pond. Center Point Pond will not be responsible for any claims with regard to the installation or removal or original or replacement products; or for any claims regarding supposed pond life death or health issues since we have no control over the installation process, use or misuse of products, or the care and conditions of the pond environment. Center Point Pond accepts no responsibility or liability that a customer's order will meet a specific job quote or building requirement. Advice and recommendations from our staff are no guarantees. The buyer is responsible for purchasing the proper materials for their application. Center Point pond offers free advice, buth Center Point Pond and its staff are not responsible or liable for any recommendations. It is the customer's responsibility to be an educated consumer.
Out of Stock Policy
Occasionally a product may temporarily be out of stock. We will work quickly to obtain the item for you. If the item is temporarily out of stock, you may wait for it to come in or cancel the order if we cannot ship ou the product within 10 business days of receipt. We reserve the right to withdraw any item without notice. Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order especially those orders with shipping or billing information outside of the United States.
Returns
On occasion with permission of Center Point Pond an order may be returned less a 20% restocking fee and must be returned within 10 days after receiving the item. Otherwise all sales are final. Original and return shipping costs will not be reimbursed. We do no accept returns on used equipment, liquid items, cut items, pond vacuums or fish food. The returned product must be in NEW AND UNUSED condition, in the ORIGINAL BOX with all manuals, parts, and accessories. We cannot take back products with any indications that it has been used. Any accepted return must have a RA# (Return Authorization Number) and Center Point Pond will refuse any returns without a valid RA#. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges when returning a product. Having a RA# does not guarantee a refund. All returns are subject to inspection. Although we try to be accurate, we are not responsible for illustrational and typographical errors.
Shipping
We ship only to the Contiguous United States. Most items are shipped within 24-48 hours. Some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer or distributor. Orders are shipped ground unless otherwise arranged with Center Point Pond. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or FPO/APO addresses. If a package is returned to us due to a non delivery, the buyer is held responsible for any extra shipping charges incurred. We do not give money back on your purchase due to shipping errors on behalf of the purchaser. If an order is refused, you will be liable for the cost of the product and any and all shipping charges.
Freight Carrier Shipping
Note: Shipping charges for motor freight items will be charged separeately to your credit card in order to obtain the most accurate cost for you. Call or email for a quote.
For items to large for UPS, a freight carrier is used. When a shipment is in your area, the freight company will call you to set up a delivery appointment. As the freight company delivers many orders each day, they can only state a specific date but are not able to narrow down the time window. Someone MUST be home at the time of delivery and be able to unload the items from the truck. Delivery is to curbside only. These trucks can be very long and must be able to turn around after delivery. Please note that any additional freight carrier's fees such as re-delivery, special notification, time delays, and lift gate services are the responsibility of the customer. If such services are requested by you and billed to Center Point Pond, all such fees shall then be re-billed to your credit card. If the freight carrier is unable to deliver the freight due to problems with contacting you or setting up delivery appointments, storage fees may be assessed by the carrier- in such cases all storage fees are the responsibility of the customer and shall be billed to your credit card.
Shipping Inspection
Please inspect your item upon delivery in presence of the delivery team, at least in general. The driver is not required to wait for you to unpack eveything for a full inspection, unless there is noticable damage on the outside packaging. Please note on the bill of lading anything you notice that is unusual, and keep a copy of the paperwork. Please contact us right away and no later than 2 days if assistance is needed.
